Very friendly service. Family atmosphere and the food was delicious. You can tell here is cooked with a lot of love and creativity at acceptable prices.

All I can say is very friendly, flexible staff and very good food. After our arrival we were looking for a good meal in the evening. When we entered the dining room, all tables were already reserved by name. After asking polite questions, a possibility was found immediately (we were there early - 5.30 p.m. and just wanted to eat quickly), our dog was no problem either. The service was nice and also gave tips on other questions. We felt very comfortable. One point deduction just for the prices - the Labskaus was good, but we find it just too expensive for such cheap ingredients (we ate it for the first time).

It was empty and we weren't allowed to have breakfast. You should call beforehand, I tried 8 times but nobody answered. Answer to "that's so we can't always answer the phone". But if the shop is to open within an hour, it would be nice if someone answered it. Thank you for nothing good woman.

Super good cake, super coffee, super friendly staff. But the portions are too big - hardly any dinner will fit in afterwards;)

We were absolutely satisfied! The ambience is very appealing and cozy. The dishes are definitely worth the price. Large portions, tasty, fresh salad. The staff is super friendly and careful. We received competent answers to questions. When we made the reservation, we indicated that we would bring a stroller. Even that was taken into account. We would love to come back and recommend you!

This is truly a café in Born that the Corona regulation consistently enforces in an exemplary manner. The staff wears breathing masks, the tables are well disinfected and only then are the guests allowed to sit down. The staff is very, very friendly and courteous despite the mostly very annoyed guests, who are inspired by a very poor nursery. I would not have this patience and friendliness with the more and more corana deniers. This cafe comes highly recommended in every way and the staff is great! ! ! 👍

There were four of us in the restaurant and had three different dishes. The Borner burger, two pikeperch on savoy cabbage with mashed potatoes and roasting with fried potatoes. All dishes came with a side salad, the dressing on it was very, very tasty and the portion of salad was pretty decent, but it was an additional, free side dish. All dishes were well prepared and very tasty. Especially the mashed potatoes and the fried potatoes were really great. So in terms of taste everything was good, unfortunately only four stars. The burger was fried a bit too long and a bit dry. The pikeperch fillets, at least two of the four, unfortunately had bones. It's a natural product, so one or two would be ok. But a dozen in one and eight in the other are a bit too many for 5 stars. The staff is very friendly and quick. Prices are okay, so all in all worth recommending!

Very cozy, a good mix of casual hospitality and a sophisticated atmosphere: in shorts and a T-shirt as well as in a shirt with a jacket. Delicious dishes, especially fish, of course, and smart, creative ideas on the menu. Very friendly, courteous service. I asked for the reservation by e-mail, but was then called back by phone because of minor details: strong service.

We ate very well! They are simple dishes that are lovingly prepared. The service is very friendly and attentive. Overall, the prices in the restaurants are a bit too high, which is certainly due to the very strong tourism in the region.

Even if you have to wait a bit to get a free seat - the Corona rules are implemented well - it is worth every wait. The cake tastes heavenly with interesting variations, coffee and ice cream are also very tasty. The service is very attentive. The yard and the grounds are very nice and well-kept.

Delicious food and drinks

Short vacation on the Darß - it was worth it. Great ambience, cozy, clean rooms and delicious food, what more could you want? The breakfast was sufficient, the self-baked cake was a dream and a delicious schnitzel for dinner. We can recommend the "Walfischhaus" with a clear conscience.

We had a table outside, the atmosphere there is very nice. The service was very nice and friendly, we felt absolutely well served. We ordered a schnitzel and a large salad as the main course. The portion of the schnitzel was a bit too small for me personally, but I was also quite hungry. I could imagine that the portion would have been sufficient for many :-) Overall, the food was really delicious. The price / performance ratio was a bit too expensive for my taste, but the restaurants in the area call similar prices. Is in a holiday region ...

We came back here today on our bike tour. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long for a vacancy. The table was quickly disinfected and we were allowed to take a seat. The service was, as always, very friendly, take order and serve on time. Small drop of bitterness, we were sitting in the blazing sun and the umbrellas were not open, probably because it was windy. in Born we will probably stop there again soon.

The fish was excellent, but during corona times the staff did not pay attention to the mask requirement to protect your guests. If you reserve a table for two, have it shown to you beforehand, otherwise you may be sitting directly in front of the toilet door. Distance regulations should not result in guests not finding a suitable ambience for good food in order to optimize the small room sizes. Just a shame, so a good meal is not remembered as such
